Thanks to all who attended the club season launch. We really appreciate all the support from family and friends and it's great to be able to host a social event again! Thank you to St Ignatius Senior School for making the Dennett Centre available for us.
I won't name everyone but a few shoutouts must go to, Kate Harris for her excellent MC duties, Rick Ward for his brilliant and hilarious auctioneer skills, all the players and committee members who helped put together the day including the serving of food and cleanup, and of course to Club President Paul Kirchner for all the huge amount of work he did making the whole event happen!
The leadership groups for 2021 will be announced in a later news post.
The Club values the ongoing support of its supporters and sponsors. The player auction day was a great success and I thank all who contributed to that success. We will be seeking your support throughout 2021 as we build our Membership numbers, hold our past players day and also the reunions of the 1981 and 2010 Premiership Teams.
The Club has had tremendous numbers on the track and we continue to grow and develop in a meaningful way. We continue to develop on the legacy of our past players and supporters, as we strive to provide an enjoyable and successful environment for all.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our games and I am sure you will enjoy a Saturday at any of those games.
